These will be reviewed by our Programme Planning Group, chaired by Dr Pratima Gupta and Miss Lynne Robinson, comprising national and International specialists, and will be considered for presentation at our Annual Scientific Conference at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth.

Guidelines for Abstracts:

Reports of research involving people must address informed consent and ethical approval of the study.

Abstracts will not be considered in the absence of ethical approval and/or informed patient consent.

Reports of experiments on or studies of animals should cite compliance with the NIH Guide for Care and Use of Laboratory Animals or other appropriate guidelines. If there is any chance that a patient may be identified from a case report, written consent from the patient needs to be obtained. Abstracts will not be considered in the absence of patient consent.

For accepted Oral presentations:

One of the Abstract authors must be registered for the conference on both days – Thursday 4 and Friday 5 July 2019 – and available to make their presentation on the afternoon of Thursday 4 July and for prize giving at the end of Friday 5 July. Each presentation, to be given by the author, should last no more than 7 minutes and will be followed by a 3 minute discussion period (these timings are a guide and confirmation of the actual timings will be emailed to all successful authors).

Poster presentation:

Abstracts which are not accepted for oral presentation can be exhibited at the conference as posters.

You should have your poster made up to a standard size of A0 (1189mm tall x 841mm wide / 46.81″ tall x 33.11″ wide). Poster judging will take place at the conference. During the judging session, one of the authors must be available to answer questions.

Prize giving:

Prize giving will take place at the conference on the afternoon of Friday 5 July 2019.

Accepted Abstracts will be published in Post Reproductive Health, the quarterly journal of the BMS following the conference.
