Where the sun doesn’t shine but symptoms do: intimate neighbours – the vulva, vagina and anus in menopause – Ms Elaine Palmer

  • A whistle-stop, myth-busting tour through the three most forgotten neighbours of menopause: the vulva, vagina, and anus. This practical, fast-paced session will cover how to ask the right questions, perform confident and compassionate vulval examinations, and recognise red-flag features that need onward referral. Learn how to build personalised care plans that truly work for your patients, from managing dryness, fissuring and itch to rebuilding confidence and comfort. Expect humour, honesty and plenty of real-world tips to help you spot, soothe, and support where the sun doesn’t shine.

Hair loss and menopause: common causes, sensible investigations and interventions – Dr Inge Kreuser-Genis

This talk will dive into why hair thinning happens during these stages, covering hormonal changes, as well as other causes of hair loss and how to differentiate.
